2017 IWCA Decorative Carver of the Year Novice/Intermediate - Final Results

The final results are in for the 2017 Decorative Carver of the Year at both the novice and intermediate levels.

INTERMEDIATE - Hank Wurgler is the 2017 IWCA Decorative Carver of the Year at the intermediate level with 455 points. Robert Jones placed second with 75 points, and Ryan Steed placed third with 70 points.

NOVICE - Lisa Strang is the 2017 IWCA Decorative Carver of the Year at the Novice level with 80 points. Stan Rule placed second with 60 points, and there was a five way tie for third place with 40 points earned by Larry Crist, Michael Donovan, Rick Taylor, Dale Pasco, and Roy Richardson.

Each of the ten (10) decorative carvers who placed 1st, 2nd, and 3rd at both the Intermediate and Novice level will receive an engraved plaque.

Congratulations to all of the participants who entered into the IWCA Decorative Carver of the Year Championship. We hope to see you accumulate even more points in 2018!
